Do they do delivery??
Prices are great, the food is even better! I've never had a Mole like that and it was fantastic. Very friendly service and fast. Came during off season.
MoreVery crowded at night but not too long waiting for food serving
Highly recomend the patrona butrito. Best burrito i ever had.
Food was great, but not too keen on the staff that don't wear face coverings. Would have preferred to eat outside.
MoreExcellent small local joint. Service was very good. Mole sauce was well made with the usual complex flavors. There cheladas weren't the best however. There's a small entryway where you'll wait for a table and chat with fellow diners. Definitely recommend.
MoreAuthentic Mexican food with excellent service and filling meals. A hidden gem within town being the only Mexican place I saw. Great for lunch or dinner
MoreNicest place in town for lunch or dinner. Really Mexican food and good service. I would eat there everyday if could! 100% recommended.
MoreGood authentic Mexican food. The fish tacos are so good its hard for me to try anything else on the menu. Hometown atmosphere. During peak times I recommend family style share tables. The restaurant is small, establish a table share program when the lobby is full.
MoreCoconut Chipotle with Shrimp, Chicken Chipotle with spicy garlic sauce and house Margarita (w/ no tequila).. this made our evening super fun & filling as well! This place is on my go to list now! Apart from food, the place and the ambiance was great! Some of the frames were hilarious! Overall, a must visit spot in Groveland!
MoreChile relleñenos. Yum!
Absolutely delicious food and great service. I live locally and this is by far my favorite restaurant to visit!
MoreGreat food and good service
Very good place to eat. Top Ten Mexican foods I have had. Really nice setting, cozy and rustic. Antiques displayed showing a bit of the past. Dishes are well filled. Only thing I would like to have different is a torta on the menu. But, that isnt going to effec the score
MoreGood Mexican Food and friendly service!
Love this place - it’s one of my “go tos” for dinner when I’m in town!! They are always super friendly and the food is great. It’s consistent and tasty every time I order. Nice to dine is too - but be warned it’s a locals favorite so if you are going on a busy weekend there may be a little wait. If you are thinking take out - call your order in and they’ll have it ready for you! Or do what I do - grab a beer while you wait! :-)
MoreGreat staff. Amazing food.
Great ambiance, staff is very friendly. Authentic food. Only downfall is there is no liquor license, but you can still order beer and wine.
MoreFirst time there, very good food. Met the owners very friendly people.
Pretty good food. Nice service. A little cramped.
I really enjoy coming here with the family. It is a little small for big parties and doesn't have a changing table. But the food and service are amazing. I normally get the chimichanga or the soft tacos, they are both delicious even my 9 year old picky eater can find something he absolutely loves here. Definitely recommend it.
MoreVery good food! Good prices! The waitress could be a little bit more gracious and could better take care of her customers. The restaurant was nearly empty for lunch, but she looked like she was rushing. We came for dinner this past winter and had better service although the restaurant was full at that time.
MoreNot super clean, but good food and friendly!
I was here with my wife and friend during 2018 summer vacation, and, it was amazing! As an European, we are not really use to big food quantities, here plate are big! When we saw big plates coming to us, we where like “gosh, I’ll not be able to finish”. But not at all! Quantity ok, but quality is also here! We took several plates (we really love Mexican food), all was perfect, and I truly recommend this place! If my home wasn’t 9200km far away, I’ll for sure go here every week 😂. Thanks guys.
MoreGreat food great service cold beer huge variety
This is not your average american-style Mexican restaurant. The service and food were excellent. The inside is small. They do have high chairs and accommodated our 3 small children. The chips they bring to the table could be better but the burrito my husband got was one of the best ever.
MoreOutstanding, authentic, old style Mexican food. Diverse menu, clean, good service, and reasonable prices. Went there two nights and would have gone for another 10 to try all the wonderful menu items.
MoreAuthentic Mexican food. Very good service.
Great food, must stop here for Mexican food
Really good food and great service 😊
Really Groveland is the last stop before Yosemite. We stopped to look around and stumbled on this place with great food. Great, spicy salsa. I had a burrito that was served with green chili sauce...yum.
MoreThis place is a local gem, a whole in the wall Mexican restaurant with amazing food, huge portion that are packed with tons of flavor. I highly recommend stopping by here on your way in or out of Yosemite park.
MoreExcellent, authentic Mexican food. Owners are hospitable and provide excellent service. Quiet environment, in contrast to the unbelievable noise level and annoying music in the Iron Door down the street.
MoreFood was good for travel to Yosemite but they made a wait a long time and didn’t take the orders on time and did hap-hazard ordering of food.. which felt a little unfair. Especially we already waited almost an hour
MoreGreat stop after Yosemite National Park. Ordered a combo: Beef tostada and chicken enchilada in red sauce. Beef was tough, but flavor of red sauce was fantastic. Cute, authentic atmosphere with small dining room...perfect for intimate dinners.
MoreLots of delicious dishes on offer and as with all Mexican plenty of great vegetarian options to choose from. The burritos were especially good. Nice selection of beer and wines to accompany your meal too. Really cosy setting. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Went a couple of times it was that good.
MorePossibly one of my all time best shrimp enchiladas! There’s a wait time, but worth the wait.
MoreFood tasted great! Reasonably priced, quick service and very close to the lake! I'd recommend.
MoreWoW...was driving back from Yosemite and wanted a Breakfast Burrito. We stopped here but no Breakfast Burrito. But they had something even better La Patrona Burrito its delicious. Definitely my new spot when in the area.
MoreYou can count number of restaurants in this city on your hands because it is that small. Arrived at 1930, spent at least 30 minutes waiting until 2000, but food came out within ten minutes. Ordered the chicken enchiladas. Decent portions, decent chicken, not too bad. It's the only Mexican restaurant in town, caters to high volume tourists. Not top-tier, but won't be too disappointed. I spent around three-four nights in Groveland, but this place wasn't enough to draw me back a second time.
MoreI adore this place very much. there is a great mood. The food is very tasty. the service is efficient and the personel is courteous. The price is decent. truly recommend.
MoreThe food was good. It's just over an hour away from Yosemite National Park. So while on our way back to home we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to have some lunch here. When we drove in, it wasn't clear where to park. So we parked in the space right opposite to the restaurant. The side of the restaurant is small, so probably on a busy day the place may get full fast.We got started with chips and salsa. Mmm the salsa tasted good and HOT. Liked it. Would have loved it if it was a bit more thicker. Then we ordered fajitas and veggie burrito bowl. The fajitas came in a sizzling hot plate and it tasted great with the rice, beans, sour cream and guacamole that came together.
MoreGreat food! you cannot eat here if you are in a hurry, service is slow. They are a small restaurant. It is worth the wait.
MoreBest dish in town, authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended!
Firstly, I am so so so picky with my Mexican food. I hate fake American Mexican food, I can't stand it!! So I am so happy I picked this place coming through the area. The food was amazing and the waiter was great! It's a small restaurant but it's ok. I got the chimichanga, best I've ever had! This is in my top 3 best Mexican food restaurants!! Portions are huge!
MoreVegetarian/vegan friendly place. There is a vegetarian section on the menu with about 6-7 dishes and most can be served vegan if you leave out the cheese. The cooking is simple and the flavors are clean, which is what we wanted.
MoreAuthentic, delicious Mexican food in the mountains. The prices and portions are amazing. Ive been here twice, both times Ive come to Yosemite and I definitely recommend it if youre in the mood for a perfect Mexican meal.
MoreNice Mexican food next to hwy 120. Food was nice and hot. They have several options for vegetarians. The complimentary salsa was pretty awesome. We liked it so much that asked for few free refills.
MoreGreat authentic Mexican food, very lovely and helpful staff, thank you. We took a chance by stopping here during our tour of yosemite, so worth it!!
MoreI constantly come getting some food in this spot. I loved the prompt service and well cooked food. Never disappointing.
MoreOFF THE BEATEN PATHOn the way to Yosemite Gateway 120 located in the town of Groveland, one of the California's Gold Rush Town. To reach this place one has to drive the obstacle challenging drive of Old Priest Grade or New Priest Grade (CA 120) reaching the top of 3,000 feet above sea level. As you enter Groveland a town with of 1,500 population. The town slept for a while during the "Stay in Place" Now Cocina Michoacana is back in business practicing "Socail Distancing" The only Mexican restaurant and the best competing with no one.
